VACATION!!! : Branson, MO

We took a little road trip to Branson last week.

As soon as we checked in, we had to hit the pool!...

Apparently, Smith doesn't like it when Cannon splashes him. The water was pretty chilly!

Our room had a huge tub with jets. The kids had a blast taking their baths in it!

Here is Silver Dollar City. It is great and has a lot of fun rides for young children. I love how family oriented this city is.

Smith was a little nervous but Cannon was a champ on all the rides!

Here is Cannon's favorite ride. He is really into frogs lately.

If you look closely, you can see Cannon and daddy on these swings. These things make me nervous, but Cannon loved them and wanted to go again! I though for sure he would be scared! I am impressed with how brave he was...I took him to a carnival last summer and he wouldn't ride any of the totally non-scary rides.

This was a great play area full of foam balls and all sorts of fun things that could have entertained them all day.

We were waiting to go on a train ride when I spotted this and had to snap a photo!

Here is a brown recluse spider we found in the bath tub in the small bathroom. Creepy!!!

These geese were everywhere on the resort property and would let you feed them from your hand.

We were able to go fishing on the resort. We caught a few and had such a great time that we went and bought some gear at the Bass Pro Shops in town.

Mommy even caught one!

We had a blast in Branson and hope to do it again next year with some friends!!!
