In mid-October, we took a little weekend trip to Hot Springs over the fall break that Cody had from school. Our good friends, the Cooks came with us. We stayed at a fun cabin on Lake Catherine and had a great time fishing and eating.
Ducks came right up to the kids, so we busted out the leftover hamburger and hot dog buns.
Apparently Cannon was hungry and decided not to share the buns with the ducks. Also, he and Smith decided to strip their shorts off and wade in the water.
After the kids had splashed in the lake and were covered in mud and leaves, we threw all of them in the giant jetted tub.
The next day, we went into Hot Springs and had a fun time at the Mid-America Science Museum. This is the area where the kids can dig for dinosaur bones.
Daddy buried Cannon in the rubber pellets.
